My name is Dina, and I graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University, in
2003, majoring in political science. Next year, I am enrolling in graduate
school at Johns Hopkins, hoping to pursue a degree, a Masters degree in
International Relations, with a concentration in conflict resolution and
security studies.
I was born and raised as an Orthodox Jew. My family placed a high emphasis on
religion and cultural education, so I went to Jewish day school through 12th
grade. I then spent a year after high school studying in a Jewish studies
institute in Jerusalem.
I hope to pursue a career in Diplomacy and International Relations, working
perhaps in the Middle East or, just in general, along the lines of regional
conflict -- particularly related to ethnic or religious conflict.
